"How does billing my insurance for psychotherapy work?"
I handle billing with insurance companies I am in network with (see above), as well as those I am not in network with that allow out of network billing.
Prior to meeting with me, please look into the status of your deductible for mental health services, because you may need to spend your deductible prior to your insurance company paying for our sessions. Also, please find out whether you will have a copay or coinsurance for mental health services, also called behavioral health by insurance companies, and what the amount will be each session.
"How do video appointments work?"
I can provide psychotherapy via secure online video appointments to people in the state where I am licensed: Montana. Once we set up a video appointment, you will receive a link to our video session via email. Click the link at our appointment time, and our session begins. Check with your insurance company to see if they cover telehealth sessions if you are planning to use your insurance to pay for sessions.
"Do you work with couples?"
Not currently. At this time my counseling psychotherapy practice is focused on individual adults and adolescents.
